The Juniper Center
Jess Wenk, LCSW, has been serving as a Therapist at The Juniper Center since August 2019 and has held the position of Clinical Therapist at Youth Services of Glenview/Northbrook since August 2013. With extensive experience in providing individual mental health counseling to children and adolescents, Jess has organized and led activity-based after-school groups, process groups for teenagers facing anxiety and mood challenges, and social skills groups focusing on peer relationship development. Additionally, Jess has supervised court-mandated visitations between children and parents. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Northeastern Illinois University.

The Juniper Center specializes in trauma recovery, depression and anxiety, diverse sexuality and gender identities, addiction treatment, and relationship and family therapy. Founded by Dr. Margo Jacquot in 1996, The Juniper Center is one of the largest women-owned counseling and therapy practices in the area, and provides counseling and psychotherapy, psychiatry and medication management, therapeutic yoga and movement therapy, and psychological testing services for all ages. The Juniper Center takes its name from the juniper tree: Resilient beyond measure, growing and thriving in the most barren of places; shaped by the wind and sun, its trunk becomes a beautiful, majestic sculpture amidst treacherous terrain.
