The Juniper Center
Lauren is an experienced professional in the field of social work and therapy, currently serving as a School Social Worker for Glen Ellyn Community Consolidated School District 89 since June 2020 and as a Child and Adolescent Therapist at The Juniper Center since April 2021. Previous roles include School Social Worker positions at Hawthorn School District 73 and Cambridge Lakes Charter School, as well as a One to One Aid at Little Friends, Inc. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from North Central College and a Master's degree in School Social Work from Aurora University, along with study abroad experience at the University of Limerick in 2013.

The Juniper Center provides expert, individualized care by 60+ clinicians in five Chicagoland locations and throughout the state of Illinois via teletherapy. The Juniper Center specializes in trauma recovery, depression and anxiety, diverse sexuality and gender identities, addiction treatment, and relationship and family therapy. Founded by Dr. Margo Jacquot in 1996, The Juniper Center is one of the largest women-owned counseling and therapy practices in the area, and provides counseling and psychotherapy, psychiatry and medication management, therapeutic yoga and movement therapy, and psychological testing services for all ages. The Juniper Center takes its name from the juniper tree: Resilient beyond measure, growing and thriving in the most barren of places; shaped by the wind and sun, its trunk becomes a beautiful, majestic sculpture amidst treacherous terrain.
