Anthony Ngugi

Anthony Ngugi is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with extensive work experience in finance and accounting. CPA Anthony has held various roles in different companies over the years.

Starting in 1995, they worked at Uchumi Supermarkets Ltd as a Senior Accountant, where they managed accounts payable, general ledger updates, and vendor reconciliations. CPA Anthony also successfully implemented the Lawson software financials suite.

In 2005, Ngugi joined The Catholic University of Eastern Africa as a Financial Accountant.

From 2007 to 2010, they were the Financial Controller at Heidelberg, a German precision mechanical engineering company specializing in offset printing presses.

Ngugi then served as the Finance Manager at Uchumi Supermarkets Ltd in Uganda from 2010 to 2013, followed by a role as the Financial Controller at Transeast Uganda Limited from 2013 to 2015.

In 2015, they became the Finance Manager at Fountain Technologies Ltd, responsible for financial reporting, treasury, financial risk management, and budgeting functions for their subsidiaries in Eastern and Western Africa.

Since 2018, Ngugi has been the Head of Finance at The Kenya Institute of Management, providing strategic financial management advice to the organization.

Anthony Ngugi completed their education history as follows:

- From 1993 to 1998, they attended KCA University where they obtained a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification in Kenya.

- From 2004 to 2006, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree at The Catholic University of Eastern Africa with a specialization in Accounting.

- Finally, from 2014 to 2016, they studied at ESAMI Business School, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management.
