Laronda Richardson is the current Associate Director of Venue Services at The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. Before that, they were the Visitor Services Manager at the African American Museum in Philadelphia where they oversaw museum admissions, group sales, facility rentals, and retail shop. Laronda was also responsible for deploying a new e-commerce site, creating a new operations model, and creating a plan to monetize the museum's virtual campus.
Prior to their work at the African American Museum, Laronda was a Meeting Manager at AH & Association Headquarters. In this role, they were responsible for handling all aspects of meeting planning, including but not limited to venue selection, contract negotiation, food and beverage coordination, audio/visual needs, transportation, on-site management, and post-event analysis.
Laronda Richardson completed their undergraduate degree at Northeastern University in Music. Laronda then went on to complete an Event Management Certificate Program at The George Washington University. Laronda also has a certification from The George Washington University in Event Management.
