Christiaan de Wet

Christiaan De Wet has a strong background in engineering and design. Christiaan is currently serving as the Head of Design & Engineering at The Kingfish Company since March 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Head Of Technical Department at Kingfish-Zeeland from March 2020 to January 2021. Christiaan also worked as an Engineering Consultant at Cactus Enterprises from February 2019 to March 2020. Earlier in their career, Christiaan worked at Abagold Ltd as the Executive Engineering Manager from April 2006 to February 2019, where they focused on designing and developing water reticulation systems and improving energy efficiency. Christiaan also gained experience as a Product Engineer at Visteon Corporation from March 2000 to March 2006, specializing in air handling systems for automotive OEM suppliers. Christiaan began their career at Ford Motor Company - UK as a Product Engineer from July 1999 to February 2000.

Christiaan De Wet obtained their Senior Certificate (matric) from Oudtshoorn High School between 1987 and 1991. Christiaan then went on to attend the University of Stellenbosch from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. In October 2019, Christiaan obtained the certification of Professional Engineer from the Engineering Council of South Africa and the Washington Accord.
