Katie Watts

Katie Watts is an experienced Secondary Geography Teacher currently working at The King's Academy since September 2022, following a previous teaching position at Grace College, Gateshead from September 2020 to July 2022. Katie holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Education in Secondary Geography and a Bachelor of Science in Geography, both obtained from Newcastle University. Additional experiences include work placements at ITV Tyne Tees and Border and BBC Look North, where Katie gained insights into journalism and meteorological broadcasting. Early career roles in customer service at Premier Inn, The Old Mill Bed and Breakfast, and The Station further developed strong communication and organizational skills.
