The Honourable Stockwell Day, a Canadian former politician, was elected nine times at two levels of government—provincial and national. Elected to the Alberta government in 1986, Day’s roles included Minister of Labour, Minister of Social Services, and Minister of Finance. In 2000, he became the leader of the Canadian Alliance, the Opposition party in Canada’s Parliament. In 2010, he was appointed President of the Treasury Board.

Day is a national and international speaker and a regular media commentator. He has served as a distinguished fellow of the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada and as a guest lecturer at Quebec’s Concordia University as well as Canada’s military college.
