Jay Jones

Jay Jones is a software engineer with extensive experience in both full stack and backend development. Currently employed at The Knot Worldwide since April 2024, Jay previously worked at Brex from September 2021 to January 2024. Prior to that, Jay served as a Software Engineering Immersive Resident at Galvanize Inc. in early 2021. As a freelance software engineer, Jay contributed to various projects, including developing a geo-locational community app and reconstructing backend systems for large retailers. Jay's technical expertise spans multiple technologies, including JavaScript, PostgreSQL, React, and AWS. In addition to software engineering, Jay has held an associate position at E Lemon Accounting, focusing on financial reporting and client relationships for nonprofits and businesses. Jay holds an Advanced Software Engineering Immersive degree from Hack Reactor and attended Central Michigan University from 2013 to 2015.
