Matt Rook

Matthew Rook is an accomplished engineering executive with extensive experience in technology leadership. Currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Engineering at The Knot Worldwide since May 2019, Matthew Rook previously held the position of VP of Engineering both at The Knot Worldwide and XO Group Inc. from October 2005 to April 2019. Matthew Rook played a pivotal role in the transition of XO Group's technology team to modern development practices and was instrumental in the establishment of an offshore development center in Guangzhou, China. Earlier in Matthew Rook's career, roles included Senior Software Engineer at Wachovia Bank and Software Developer at HBS Corp. Matthew Rook earned a degree in Management and Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
