Krista Jahnke is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in digital strategy and media management. Currently serving as Communications Manager and Senior Communications Officer, Digital at The Kresge Foundation since July 2015, Krista leads the digital team and oversees the foundation's communication strategies across various platforms. Prior to this, Krista was Senior Communications Officer at The Skillman Foundation from June 2012 to July 2015, where efforts focused on storytelling through multiple media channels. Krista began a career in journalism at the Detroit Free Press, holding several roles including Web Editor and Sports Writer from April 2003 to May 2012. Early experience includes a position as a Copy Editor at the Lansing State Journal. Educational credentials include a Certificate in Social Impact Storytelling from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Michigan State University.
