Dan Umphress has extensive experience in fleet management and equipment specifications, with a career spanning over three decades in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Region Facilities Manager at Kroger since March 2015, responsibilities include overseeing fleet equipment sourcing, maintenance management, and ROI justifications. Prior roles include VP Engineering at A&R Logistics, Inc., and VP Maintenance and Fleet Services at Fleet Advantage, LLC, where Dan focused on equipment specifications and maintenance management. Earlier experience includes significant positions at FedEx Freight and American Freightways, emphasizing vehicle solutions and fleet maintenance. Dan holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Diesel Mechanics Technology from Indian Hills Community College.
