David Coates

David Coates has held various roles in the supply chain industry since 2000. From 2000 to 2003, they worked as a Commercial Technician and Planner at Enron, where they were responsible for scheduling output configuration for nine turbines and designing and implementing site planning processes. From 2003 to 2016, they worked at Procter & Gamble, where they held four roles including Global Luxury Distribution Requirements Planning Key User, DRP Planner and Key User, Production Planner (SIP) and SAP APO Key User, and Material Buyer and SAP Procurement Key User. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Coty as a Global Luxury Distribution Requirements Planning Key User, where they were responsible for Distribution Requirements Planning (APO, JDA and SAP) and leading DRP project support and testing. Since 2018, they have worked at The Lakes Distillery as a Supply Chain Manager.

David Coates has a comprehensive education history. David attended St. Cuthbert's High School in Newcastle upon Tyne, where they obtained 9 GCSEs and 3 A Levels. David then went on to Liverpool John Moores University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Business Studies and French in 2000. In 2002, they completed a PGCE in French from the University of York. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Prince2 Practitioner, Excel Level 3, and Prince2 Foundation in 2017.
