Charles Allen is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in community development, empowerment, and spiritual guidance. Currently serving as President and CEO of The Lakeside Association since June 2021, Charles has also held roles such as Chief Operations Officer and Interim President/CEO. In addition, Charles is a Success Coach and Empowerment Strategist with ReThink U. Previously, Charles founded Empower 1 Community Transformation and served as its President and CEO, as well as playing significant leadership roles at Cherry Street Mission Ministries, including Executive Director of Programs and Sr. Pastor at Tabernacle of Praise Church. Charles holds ongoing educational pursuits at Liberty University and has previous studies at Washtenaw Community College.

Lakeside Chautauqua is a nonprofit organization that engages individuals in a year-round Chautauqua experience dedicated to nurturing mind, body and spirit. Located halfway between Cleveland and Toledo, it is an historic Chautauqua community that offers spiritual opportunities, educational lectures, cultural arts programming and recreational pursuits for guests of all ages. With daily concerts, special events, educational seminars, recreational opportunities, cottages, hotels, shops, restaurants and an historic movie theater, Lakeside Chautauqua remains a summer retreat for generations of families.
