Smriti Patodia

Smriti Patodia is a skilled professional with extensive experience in academic editing and research. Currently serving as a Senior Editor at The Lancet since February 2023, Smriti previously worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at University College London (UCL) from February 2015 to February 2023 and as a Research Assistant at UCL from November 2009 to August 2013. Earlier experience includes a Research Assistant position at The University of Queensland from 2007 to 2008. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Neuroscience from UCL (2010-2014), an MSc in Molecular Biology from The University of Queensland (2007-2008), and a BSc in Medical Biotechnology from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (2003-2006). Primary and secondary education was completed at La Martiniere for Girls.
