Sophia Davis is a Senior Editor at The Lancet, overseeing Lancet Psychiatry and Lancet Child & Adolescent Health, with a keen interest in psychiatry and public health. Prior to this, Sophia was a self-employed editor and writer, specializing in meticulous copy-editing and assisting non-native speakers. Additionally, Sophia has experience as a somatic therapist, employing body-focused approaches to help clients manage stress and trauma. Administrative expertise includes work with Discover Football, supporting event organization and funding applications, as well as research roles at prestigious institutions such as the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science and Royal Museums Greenwich.
