Anna Barr is an experienced education coordinator and environmental educator currently serving as the Learning Among the Oaks Education Coordinator at The Land Conservancy of San Luis Obispo County, where the focus is on K-6th grade place-based outdoor education. With a background in proofreading and copyediting since 2008, Anna has also taught English as a foreign language in South Korea, supported outreach initiatives at Stockholm University's Department of Biology Education, and facilitated hands-on science learning for children through various roles at organizations like Tree Frog Treks and the Children's Creativity Museum. A strong foundation in ecology and biodiversity is backed by an MSc from Stockholm University and a BA from UC Santa Barbara, alongside extensive experience in public programming and visitor engagement at the California Academy of Sciences.
