M. Cortney M. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. They began their career in 2004 as a Program Management Specialist at General Dynamics, where they worked until 2007. Following this, they worked as a Consultant Coordinator at ISA Consulting for a short period. In 2007, they joined Dyventive, Inc as a Meeting Planning Specialist before transitioning to Seamless Events, Inc in 2020 as a Manager.

In 2010, M. Cortney M. started working at Towamencin Township as a Special Events Facilitator, a role they held until 2022. They then joined Skippack Township as a Special Events Facilitator from 2021 to 2022. Simultaneously, they took a role as the Task Force Lead and Director of Operations at Skippack Pharmacy from 2021 to 2023.

In 2017, M. Cortney M. worked as a Freelance Project Manager at Albrecht Events, LLC, a role they held until 2023. They then moved on to work at Laurel House in 2022 as the Director of Community Outreach. Their most recent position is at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where they currently serve as the Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) Specialist, starting in 2023.

M. Cortney M. completed a Bachelor's degree in Communications and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland from 1999 to 2003. Later, from 2017 to 2019, they pursued an Event Management Certificate in Meeting and Event Planning at Temple University. Most recently, from 2023 to 2025, M. Cortney M. obtained a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a focus on Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Villanova University.
