Elizabeth A. Marcus-Wenger

Associate at The Law Firm of J.W. Stafford, L.L.C.

Elizabeth A. Marcus-Wenger advocates for her clients as they seek to resolve any of a number of employment related issues. She takes pride in tailoring her practice to meet each client’s individualized needs so that no two cases are approached in the same manner. Elizabeth has previously advocated for her clients in a variety of areas of law including domestic violence, personal injury, criminal and traffic defense, and family law allowing her to have a broad background for each client’s case.

Prior to seeking her law degree, Elizabeth worked at the Domestic Violence Center of Howard County, now Hope Works. There, she served the Center’s clients as a paralegal as they pursued Protective Orders or Peace Orders. Elizabeth felt compelled to become an attorney as she saw her clients many obstacles to achieve their health and safety as she helped prepare each case for a hearing. Her clients’ resiliency and strength continue to motivate her today as she approaches each case as if it is her only case.

Now, Elizabeth has taken her passion for advocating for those who struggle to find a voice in the legal system to employment matters. She prides herself on providing each client individualized attention as she collaborates with her client to achieve his/her goals. Elizabeth relies not only on her experiences with employment law cases, but also with other areas of law, as she refuses to be deterred by potential barricades in cases and chooses to see them as opportunities for crafting creative solutions to the challenges presented.

Elizabeth remains heavily involved with her undergraduate college, Bryn Mawr College, working with admissions, organizing her reunion, and leading a local club. She also volunteers with Broadneck Area Youth Sports in the soccer program. Elizabeth also enjoys exploring the National Parks, dabbling in art, and baking.
