Karyn Kraemer is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various roles within the legal and education sectors. Currently serving as Legal Counsel in Practice Management at the Law Society of Alberta since June 2017, Karyn previously held the position of Academic Chair for the Legal Assistant Program at SAIT Polytechnic from November 2013 to June 2017. Prior to this, Karyn worked as an Associate Lawyer at Doak Shirreff LLP and Benson Salloum Watts, focusing on comprehensive legal services and various branches of law. Karyn's career began as a Secondary School Teacher for the Calgary Board of Education, teaching high school English and French. Karyn holds an LL.B from the University of Calgary and a B.Ed from the University of Alberta.
