Rebecca McCartney is a seasoned Human Resources professional with extensive experience in various HR roles at the Law Society of Alberta since April 2015, currently serving as a Human Resources Business Partner. In this capacity, Rebecca develops and implements HR plans aligned with business strategies to meet organizational needs. Previously, Rebecca held positions as a Human Resources Coordinator, where supportive functions included talent acquisition and employee engagement, and as an Executive Assistant to the Director of Human Resources. Earlier career experiences include roles as an Executive Assistant at Shaw Communications, North Star Ford Sales Limited, PBA Land & Development, and Snamprogetti Canada, demonstrating strong administrative skills and the ability to manage executive support effectively. Rebecca completed coursework at the University of Calgary from 2017 to 2018.
