Annette Gavrish

Annette Gavrish is the Controller at The Lawson Companies. She is a Certified Public Accountant with over 25 years in public and corporate accounting. Annette worked 12 years as a public accountant preparing audit and reviewed financial statements as well as preparing and supervising the preparation of the related entities tax returns. Annette’s focus in public accounting was real estate, health care and closely held entities. Annette then entered the private sector and served as the Vice President of Finance at an international transportation company where she managed the accounting activity of the US and Canadian operations, acquisition of several affiliates and assisted in the company’s initial public offering.

Annette oversees the daily management of the property and corporate accounting staff while assisting property management operations with system efficiencies and training.

Annette earned her Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of South Carolina in Columbia and her Masters of Taxation from Old Dominion University in Norfolk Virginia. Annette is a current member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is in good standing and licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
