Carl Hardee

Carl Hardee is the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Lawson Companies. Carl is responsible for the operational and financial stability and growth of the organization. He has been an integral part of The Lawson Companies’ team for over twenty-five years. Many facets of his current position include elements of his prior position, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, where he was responsible for the oversight of the firm’s day-to-day operations. Prior to that role, Carl was the President and Principal Broker of the firm’s property management company while also running the development and multifamily construction departments. Currently Carl’s specific focus includes continued growth of the development, construction, property management and asset management lines coupled with improving talent attraction and talent development with team members who share our core values.

Carl holds a Bachelor’s degree from Virginia Military Institute and is a Gulf War veteran of the United States Army. He is the Executive Certified Property Manager for the firm and holds real estate broker licenses in the states of Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
