Nicole Cathey

Nicole Cathey is an experienced educational professional currently serving as the National Designer and Facilitator at The Leadership Academy since January 2022. Prior to this role, Cathey held positions such as Managing Director of Schools at Southwest ISD and Program Director at The Holdsworth Center. With a background in project management and professional development for school leaders, Cathey has demonstrated expertise in change management, coaching, and program facilitation. Cathey's earlier experience includes teaching and staff development roles at Montgomery County Public Schools and Prince George's County Public Schools, as well as program coordination at Akron Summit Community Action. Nicole Cathey holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Trinity Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Kent State University.
