Meredith Johnson

Meredith Johnson is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications Director and Producer at The Leakey Foundation since January 2013. In this role, Meredith hosts, produces, and develops the podcast "Origin Stories," which focuses on human evolution and was a finalist in the 2016 Science Media Awards. Additionally, Meredith has held positions such as Communications Manager, where strategic communication plans are developed and data-driven social media reports are created to enhance future initiatives, and Outreach Coordinator, focusing on organizing a nationwide public lecture series at prominent museums. Prior to joining The Leakey Foundation, Meredith was the Lead Event Designer and Coordinator at Jess Flood Event Design from November 2008 to July 2012, where responsibilities included event design, brand development, marketing, and web design.
