Kathryn Monk is an accomplished academic and professional in the field of environmental management and ecological entomology, currently serving as a member of the Council Joint Engagement Forum, Remuneration Committee, Audit, Assurance & Risk Committee, and as an Honorary Professor at Swansea University. Additionally, Kathryn holds significant positions such as Chair of the Bristol & Avon County Priory Group at St John Ambulance and Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Collaboration for Environmental Evidence. With a distinguished background as a Fellow of the Learned Society of Wales and a Distinguished Fellow at The Schumacher Institute, Kathryn's expertise extends to various roles, including Joint Editor-in-Chief of the Indonesian Journal of Applied Environmental Studies and Lead Reviewer for the Department of Agriculture Environment and Rural Affairs in Northern Ireland. Kathryn Monk earned a PhD in Ecological Entomology from Imperial College London and a BSc in Biology from Durham University.
