The Learning Community
Isabella Labbe is a dedicated and experienced educator currently serving as a 7th & 8th Grade Social Studies Teacher at The Learning Community Charter School since June 2022. Previously, Isabella worked at Blackstone Academy Charter School as a Substitute Teacher and Tutor, where responsibilities included covering various classes and providing one-on-one support to students. Additional experiences include a student teaching role in a 10th Grade United States History classroom and multiple positions related to academic support and administrative tasks at Wellesley College, including roles as an Academic Success Coach, Program Coordinator, and Student Administrative Assistant. Isabella's earlier endeavors also involve internships focused on marketing at the Coolidge Corner Theatre Foundation and advocacy for historic preservation with the Boston Preservation Alliance. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Teaching from Brown University and a Bachelor's degree from Wellesley College.

The Learning Community
The Learning Community is a K-8 public school proving poverty is not a barrier to achievement. We serve over 450 students in our school and hundreds of other teachers and students in the schools where we work as professional development partners. This work fulfills our bold mission: At The Learning Community, we believe that literacy empowers each individual to have a voice, assume community responsibility and take social action.
