Connie Park has a diverse work experience in human resources and diversity programs. Connie is currently serving as the Chief Human Resources Officer at The Legal Aid Society, where they protect and defends the rights of New Yorkers in need of legal support. Prior to this, Connie held the position of Executive Director of Human Resources and Chief Diversity Officer at Corning Community College from 2017 to 2023. Connie also worked at Cornell University, starting as a Program Manager for Diversity Programs in 2004, then as a Human Resources Specialist from 2006 to 2011, and finally as Assistant Director of Human Resources from 2011 to 2017. In 2002, Connie worked at the Corporation for Supportive Housing as a Program Officer for Knowledge Management, where they established internal systems for knowledge sharing and promoted supportive housing as a solution to chronic homelessness.

Connie Park holds a Master's degree in Industrial and Labor Relations with a concentration in HR from Cornell University, which was completed in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Maryland. Furthermore, they have obtained a certification in SUNY Business Intelligence Introductory Workshop (Student Data) from SUNY Center for Professional Development in 2022.

Founded in 1876, the Society provides a full range of civil legal services as well as criminal defense work, and juvenile rights representation in Family Court. Our core service is to provide free legal assistance to New Yorkers who live at or below the poverty level and cannot afford to hire a lawyer when confronted with a legal problem.
