Daniel Fava is a seasoned human resources professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Human Resources Generalist focusing on Compensation & Benefits at The Legal Aid Society since September 2021, Daniel has held positions such as Human Resources Generalist and Human Resources Specialist at the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn. Previous roles include Human Resources Generalist at Food Bank For New York City and Human Resources Coordinator at New York Junior Tennis & Learning. Earlier in the career, Daniel worked as a Payroll Assistant and Accounts Receivable Coordinator and gained initial experience as an Inside Sales Representative with the New Jersey Devils. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst, attained between 2004 and 2008.

The Legal Aid Society is the nation's oldest and largest provider of legal services to the indigent. Founded in 1876, the Society provides a full range of civil legal services as well as criminal defense work, and juvenile rights representation in Family Court. Our core service is to provide free legal assistance to New Yorkers who live at or below the poverty level and cannot afford to hire a lawyer when confronted with a legal problem.
