Millie Choy

Millie Choy has a diverse work experience with a focus on operations and program development. Millie is currently the Director of Strategic Operations at The Legal Aid Society, a position they have held since July 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Cities of Service for six years, starting as a Special Projects Manager from June to December 2014, and then as the Director of Operations from January 2015 to July 2020. Before that, Millie held roles at the City of New York, Administration for Children's Services, including Program Development Operations Manager from October 2013 to May 2014, and Special Assistant for Program Development from July 2012 to September 2013. Millie began their career at Jumpstart as an AmeriCorps Member from September 2004 to May 2005, and later served as an AmeriCorps VISTA from August 2008 to August 2009. Millie then transitioned into the role of Special Projects Associate at Jumpstart from August 2009 to July 2012. Overall, Millie's work experience demonstrates their expertise in operations, program development, and strategic management.

Millie Choy has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Rochester - Warner School of Education. Millie also has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English & Psychology from the University of Rochester. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Millie attended Stuyvesant High School.
