Janelle K. Sarauw

Janelle K. Sarauw is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public service and education. Currently serving as a Relationship Manager at Robinson & Co Banking since August 2024, Janelle's past roles include Senator at the Legislature of the U.S. Virgin Islands from July 2017 to January 2023 and Chief Researcher & Director of Special Projects in the Office of the Lt. Gov. of the Virgin Islands from January 2015 to August 2017. Additionally, Janelle worked as a Secondary Education US History Teacher at the Virgin Islands Department of Education from August 2007 to February 2010, focusing on mentoring students and developing inclusive curricula. Janelle holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Florida Atlantic University, along with a Certificate in Servant Leadership from Gonzaga University. Currently pursuing a PhD in Leadership Studies with a focus on Decolonization at Gonzaga University, Janelle is dedicated to leadership and community engagement.
