Marek Carda

Marek Carda is a seasoned professional in category management and procurement, currently serving as a Senior Category Manager at the LEGO Group since May 2011. With extensive experience across various roles, Marek has specialized in areas such as greenhouse gas emissions, paper waste management, and cardboard sourcing. Responsibilities have included developing category strategies, supplier relationship management, and driving cost improvement initiatives across multiple categories including plastic packaging and print. Prior to the LEGO Group, Marek held significant positions at CO. GES Praha, Siemens, and other firms, focusing on procurement processes, strategic sourcing, and project management. Marek holds an MBA in Human Resources Management and Services from the College of Economics and Management in Prague, along with a Bachelor's in Economics and Management.
