Nico Daams

Nico Daams is an experienced professional in digital product design and user experience, currently serving as Lead Digital Product Designer at the LEGO Group since November 2024. With a long-standing role as External Examiner at CensorNet.dk since April 2010, Nico evaluates design, innovation, IT, and mechatronic student projects. Previous positions include Domain Lead UX at Blue Ocean Robotics, where collaboration with cross-functional teams ensured market alignment of service robots, and creative direction at studioDaams, focusing on user experiences across various product types. Nico’s extensive background also includes roles at Danfoss, where insight-gathering and design project management occurred, and earlier experiences in teaching and design consultancy, contributing to a robust foundation in industrial design engineering from Delft University of Technology.
