Erik Nelson is an accomplished professional in cancer research and leadership, currently serving as the Executive Director of Research Programs at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society since January 2013. Previously, Erik held various positions including Senior Director and Director of Research Programs at the same organization. Prior experience includes roles as an Instructor, Scientific Associate, and Postdoctoral Fellow at Dana Farber Cancer Institute from 2001 to December 2012, as well as serving as a Teaching Fellow at Harvard University during 2001-2003. Erik holds a Ph.D. in Biology from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Biology from the University of Connecticut.
