Kathy Griesenbeck

As chief relationship officer, Kathy Griesenbeck oversees LLS’s 56 domestic chapters, ensuring financial growth, operational efficiency and management. Part of her oversight is the volunteer engagement initiative to ensure organizational aptitude through strategic volunteer principles.

Griesenbeck has extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and a track record of transformational success. Joining the organization in 2002 as executive director, she developed the San Antonio and Austin markets—moving them from $300,000 to $7 million. This was accomplished by partnering with the Board of Trustees and implementation of innovation in LLS campaigns. In 2013, she was promoted to region VP for the southwest and southeast where she worked with 18 chapters across 13 states to develop and implement strategic growth.

Griesenbeck has a bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin and master’s degree in communications from Our Lady of the Lake University.
