Abbie McDonough

Abbie McDonough has extensive work experience in various roles within the fields of communications and politics. Starting in 2023, they serve as a Senior Managing Director at The Levinson Group. Prior to that, from 2021 to 2022, they worked as the Director of Communications at the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia.

From 2019 to 2021, Abbie McDonough held the position of Vice President at Breakwater Strategy. Abbie also gained valuable experience in political communication and strategy as the Communications Director for U.S. Senator Heidi Heitkamp from 2013 to 2019 and as the National Press Secretary for U.S. Senator John D. Rockefeller IV from 2011 to 2013.

Earlier in their career, they served as the Communications Director for Congressman Paul E. Kanjorski in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2007 to 2010. Abbie also worked as a Senior Associate at RF|Binder from 2005 to 2007 and as an Analyst at Benenson Strategy Group in 2005.
