Steve Johnson

Steve Johnson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in health economics and program evaluation. Currently serving as Vice President at The Lewin Group since April 2010, Steve Johnson focuses on the evaluation of Medicaid claims datasets to assess program efficiency and quality of care. Prior to this role, Steve Johnson was the National Director of Risk Adjustment at UnitedHealthcare from June 2008 to April 2010, where responsibilities included evaluating health plan risk scores and ensuring encounter completeness. Steve Johnson holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Health Economics from the University at Albany, obtained between 1977 and 1983, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Applied Mathematical Economics from the State University of New York at Oswego, earned from 1973 to 1977.
