With a strong academic background, including a PhD in Health Policy and Management from UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, Steven has extensive experience in analyzing healthcare systems and developing novel measurement tools, alongside a history of co-authoring influential publications. Additional roles include a Graduate Research Assistant at UNC and significant contributions to CMS quality measurement initiatives through prior positions at Yale/YNHH CORE and RTI International. Early career engagement involved analyzing data on infectious diseases for the Pan American Health Organization, indicating a longstanding commitment to public health and quality improvement.
