Jessica Russell

Jessica Russell is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in political advisory and public safety sectors. Currently serving as a Parliamentary Political Adviser for the Liberal Democrats, Jessica has previously held key roles at Microsoft as an Industry Advisor in Public Safety & Justice and as an Industry Executive Contractor. Jessica's career includes significant positions at techUK, where leadership was provided in the Local Public Safety and SmarterUK programmes, focusing on the intersection of technology and public services. Jessica's early career featured internships at the UNICRI and the NSW Crime Commission, as well as consultancy work for the Noetic Group. Jessica holds a Master of Arts in Comedy Writing from Falmouth University and a Master’s degree in Policing, Intelligence, and Counterterrorism from Macquarie University, complemented by undergraduate studies in International and Global Studies from the University of Sydney.
