Nigel Bennett has extensive experience in both education and local government. Since 1999, Nigel has served as a Councillor for the Liberal Democrats, including terms as Mayor of Sudbury. Nigel's educational career includes leadership roles in geography at both Thomas Gainsborough School and Great Cornard Upper School, alongside a commitment to environmental education. Nigel's involvement in local governance includes serving as a District Councillor for Babergh District Council and holding key responsibilities in health and community services. Additionally, Nigel was a Liberal Democrats parliamentary candidate in the 2010 General Election, demonstrating strong capabilities in public speaking and campaign organization. Nigel holds a BA Hons in Geography and a Post Graduate Certificate of Education from the University of Leicester.
