Arielle Rambo is an experienced librarian with a focus on cataloging and rare materials. Currently serving as the Head of Cataloging at The Library Company of Philadelphia since January 2011, responsibilities include overseeing the creation and maintenance of bibliographic records, supervising and training staff, and managing departmental workflows. Previous roles include Associate Chief of Cataloging and Digital Outreach Librarian, as well as Rare Book Cataloger, both emphasizing expertise in handling and cataloging rare materials. Early career experience includes positions at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and Bennington College. Arielle holds a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from PennWest Clarion and a Bachelor of Arts in Art and Literature from Bennington College, along with multiple educational certifications from Rare Book School. Proficiency in various cataloging standards and tools such as LCSH, AACR2, and MARC 21 is also notable.
