Erik Simmons is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the financial services industry, currently serving as a Senior Consultant at The Life and Annuity Group since June 2021. Previously, Erik held the position of Vice President at Ameritas from August 2008 to June 2021, where significant improvements in operational excellence and customer service were achieved through innovative technology deployment and process re-engineering. Erik also served as Vice President at AXA Equitable, overseeing Life Brokerage Operations, and at US Financial Life, leading key operations and IT initiatives. Additionally, Erik played a pivotal role as Vice President at Jack Fried and Associates, transforming a startup accounting firm into the largest electronic tax preparer in Southern Ohio. Erik holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from William & Mary.
