Raj Kumar

Raj Kumar is an accomplished hospitality professional with extensive experience in hotel management. Currently serving as General Manager at The Light Hotel (M) Sdn Bhd since August 2016, Raj has previously held similar roles at Eastin Hotel Penang and Berjaya-Georgetown City Hotel. With a background in operations management, Raj contributed to significant revenue increases and implemented key performance indicators at various establishments. Prior to general management roles, Raj held positions such as Director of Operation and Director of Meetings & Events at Berjaya Times Square, where responsibilities included overseeing food and beverage services and maximizing revenue from diverse market segments. Raj's career also includes leadership roles at Resorts World Manila and Resorts World Bhd, demonstrating a strong foundation in hotel concepts and operations. Raj completed education at Malaysia High School from 1981 to 1985.
