David Seok

David Seok, CLD, IALD, serves as Studio Leader and Senior Lighting Designer at The Lighting Practice since March 2014, where responsibilities include project management, team oversight, and client interactions. As Co Executive Director and Founding Member of the Asian Lighting Community since January 2023, David promotes growth among Asians in the architectural lighting industry. Additionally, David holds leadership roles in the International Association of Lighting Designers as NY Chapter President and Treasurer. Previous experience includes serving as Adjunct Professor at Drexel University, Design Coordinator at Lighting Design Collaborative, and earlier roles in architecture and culinary fields. David earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Drexel University and a High School Diploma from Stuyvesant High School.
