Michael Barber

Michael Barber is a seasoned professional in the lighting design industry, currently serving as Principal at The Lighting Practice since 1995, where oversight of the design process from conception to completion and a focus on energy conservation are key responsibilities. Previous experience includes a decade-long role as Assistant Adjunct Professor at Drexel University, where instruction in lighting design was provided to professionals in the Architectural Department. Earlier, Michael held the position of Design/Sales Engineer at Designplan Lighting, effectively supporting representative agencies across the Mid-West. Michael holds a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering with a focus on Electrical and Lighting from Penn State University, earned between 1988 and 1993.
