Mark Schwaninger

Mark Schwaninger is an experienced editor with a diverse background in journalism and public relations. Currently serving as the niche publications editor at Lincoln Journal Star since July 2004, Mark oversees several niche publications, including L Magazine, Thrive, Neighborhood Extra, Star City Sports, and Star City Parenting. Previous roles include editing online financial articles at Investopedia ULC and freelancing for various projects at Elite Editing. Mark's extensive experience also includes a significant tenure as Public Relations Editor at BryanLGH Medical Center, where responsibilities ranged from writing and editing promotional materials to event planning and media relations. Mark holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism-News Editorial, as well as a Bachelor of Journalism with a focus in Journalism, English, Art History, and Sociology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
