Eric Ball

Release Engineer at The Linux Foundation

Eric Ball has a diverse range of work experience. Eric started their career as an Office Assistant at the California Housing Finance Agency from 2008 to 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Student Assistant at CalSTRS. Eric then transitioned to software development and joined Los Alamos National Laboratory in 2014 as a Software Developer. In this role, they focused on Python development and created a Continuous Integration system. Eric worked there until 2017. After that, they worked as a DevOps Contractor at CE RESOURCE INC. for a few months in 2017. Eric then joined the California Community Colleges Technology Center as a DevOps Engineer from 2017 to 2018. Currently, Eric is working as a Release Engineer at The Linux Foundation, where they started in July 2018.

Eric Ball earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Information Systems Security from Sacramento City College, where they attended from 2007 to 2009. Subsequently, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science at California State University-Sacramento, from 2011 to 2014.
