Joe Levy has extensive experience in software engineering and program management, currently serving as a member of the Business Governance Board at The Open API Initiative under The Linux Foundation since September 2019. Prior to this role, Joe held various positions at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure from July 2016 to February 2025, including Director of Engineering, Senior Software Development Manager, and Principal Technical Program Manager, focusing on developer experience related to SDKs, CLIs, and REST APIs. Joe's career began at Microsoft from August 2012 to July 2016 as a Program Manager, contributing to the development of the Azure cloud platform. Additionally, Joe served as the Director of Online Development at Duke Chronicle, leading the development of its website. Joe holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Duke University.
