Mike Woster

Mike Woster is the CRO at The Linux Foundation. Mike has over 20 years of experience in sales and business development.

Woster began their career as a Network Consultant at Woster Consulting. Mike then spent eight years at Intel Corporation, where they became an Alcatel-Lucent Global Account Executive. In this role, Woster was responsible for developing and executing a global sales strategy for Alcatel-Lucent's Wireless, Multicore, Applications, and IT business groups. Mike led a team of nine sales and cross departmental professionals to exceed billings and business development quotas year over year. Some of their notable accomplishments during this time include achieving 131% of sales revenue at $65.7M and 153% of design win quota at $15.3M, as well as securing 10 multi-million dollar deals against the incumbents.

In May 2015, Woster joined Affinegy as an Advisor. Affinegy was acquired by NISC in April 2019. From December 2011 to November 2012, Woster served on the Board of Directors for the Drupal Association.

Mike Woster attended the Jesuit College Preparatory School in Dallas, TX before earning their B.S. in Computer Science with a Minor in Psychology from Texas A&M University. Mike then went on to earn their MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, with a concentration in Marketing, Finance, Entrepreneurship, and International Business.
