Rafael Sene has a diverse range of work experience. Rafael started as an intern at the Federal University of Alfenas, where they provided L3 support for the university's IT infrastructure and worked on web and software development projects. After their internship, they joined B2W - Companhia Global do Varejo as a trainee in Information Technology. From there, they moved on to IBM, where they held various roles including Software Engineer, Staff Software Engineer, Advisory Software Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer and CSM Architect. In 2022, Rafael joined both The Linux Foundation and RISC-V International as a Technical Program Manager.

Rafael Sene's education history is as follows:

- Rafael enrolled at the Universidade Federal de Alfenas in 2006 and completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 2011.

- In 2017, they pursued a specialist program in Project Management at Centro Universitário Senac, which they completed in 2018.

- From 2018 to 2022, Rafael attended the Universidade de São Paulo, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Program and Project Management.

- In 2021, Rafael started a specialist program in Digital Security, Governance, and Data Management at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul. This program is expected to be completed in 2023.

Additionally, Rafael has obtained several certifications. In 2013, they became a Certified Scrum Master through the Scrum Alliance. In 2014, they achieved certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner, also through the Scrum Alliance. Rafael obtained certifications from IBM, including IBM Design Thinking Practitioner and IBM Cloud Garage Method Explorer in 2017, and IBM Cloud Garage Method Advocate and Lab Studio Activation - Explorer in 2018.
