Walt Miner

Walt Miner has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Walt currently works as the Automotive Grade Linux Project Manager at The Linux Foundation since August 2014. Prior to this, they held positions at Mentor Graphics and MontaVista Software, where they served as the Senior Manager and Director of Automotive Solutions. In these roles, they managed a 40-member team responsible for delivering the Linux platform and middleware for automotive infotainment systems. Walt also has experience in the non-profit sector, where they served as the President of the Board of Trustees for the Church of the Cross from 2003 to 2012. Walt has worked in various software engineering and management roles at companies like Continental Automotive Systems, Motorola, Northrop Grumman, and ITT Avionics. Overall, Walt Miner has a strong background in automotive solutions, software development, and project management.

Walt Miner has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from Stevens Institute of Technology. Walt also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution.
